April Fools' Day or All Fools' Day is not an official holiday but a day celebrated in many countries on April 1. Traditionally, in some among them, people create jokes until noon: like the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa, someone who plays a trick after noon is called an "April Fool". Elsewhere, such as in Ireland, France, and America, the jokes last all day.
People usually commit hoaxes in order to put friends, family members and neighbors in a festive mood. In one word, creating jokes of varying sophistication the aim of which is to send others on a fool's errand is commonplace for April Fool’s Day.
There are no generally accepted preparations such food and decorations though the golden rule is: all activities should be amusing. So, switch on positive music, put on a fancy costume and paint the town red with your friends! Use your imagination to its fullest!
Since the main purpose of All Fool’s day is distraction from hustle and bustle of everyday life, everyone gets his (her) level of contentment.
