This video is the first of the series of the video conferences that deal with the cooperation between the Ukrainian students who study English as major at the National Technical University of Ukraine (KPI) on the Faculty of Linguistics, Department of Theory, Translation and Practice of the English Language and Canadian students who study Ukrainian as major and minor at the University of Alberta on the Faculty of Arts, Department of Modern Languages and Cultural Studies.

The aim of the project is to help both Ukrainian and Canadian students to learn more about the culture of Ukraine and Canada through the eyes of Ukrainian and Canadian students as native speakers. This cooperation will enable students to communicate in English and Ukrainian via videos on different topics and as a result improve their communicative and language skills, broaden their minds and enlarge their horizons about the customs and traditions of the target countries.
