Idioms on Describing People

Positive

- have a heart of gold = to be very kind and generous - мати золоте серце
- be as goos as gold (used generally for children) = to be generous, helpful, well-behaved - золотце (дуже хороша людина)

Negative

- to be as hard as nails = to have no sympathy for others - бути черствим, безсердечним
- to be a cold fish = to be distant and unfriendly - бути відлюдьком
